Susan M. Maxwell, M.D., FACOG is double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her medical degree with honors from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and then a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York University School of Medicine. During her fellowship training, she was certified in robotic surgery and completed additional instruction in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She held faculty positions at the New York University School of Medicine and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York before relocating to California in 2023, when she joined Southern California Reproductive Center.
Dr. Maxwell treats a variety of patients with infertility, including those with low ovarian reserve, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine fibroids or polyps, endometriosis and adenomyosis, tubal disease, uterine scar tissue, and congenital anomalies of the uterus. Dr. Duncan Turner is not your typical board certified OBGYN. Since his arrival in Santa Barbara more than 35 years ago he has been an advocate for patients, listening to them and putting their needs first.
Early in his career he realized that minimally invasive surgery was the future for surgical techniques and sought additional training in this area becoming the first GYN in Santa Barbara to perform advanced laparoscopic surgery in gynecology. Dr. Daniel F. Rychlik was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and received his bachelor’s degree and his medical education at the University of Illinois. He proceeded to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine.
Inspired by his desire to help educate both patients and doctors, Dr. Rychlik spent time as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona and an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois. He served as the President and Medical Director of Fertility Centers of Arizona as well as The Clinical Director at Partners For Fertility and IVF in Fairfax, Virginia before relocating to Santa Barbara.
An award-winning research physician, Dr. Rychlik has worked with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and has been named a CREST scholar by the National Institute of Health (NIH).
