Dr. Howard Gross is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is the founder of the Surgical Arts Building and Surgical Center. Dr. Douglas Mackenzie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.  After earning his medical Degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1989, he completed a general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.  He then completed his plastic surgery residency at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center in New York City, and finished training in 1997 with a fellowship in hand surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.  He then joined the faculty there and taught as Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Mackenzie opened his Santa Barbara practice Pacific Plastic Surgery in 2000.  Along with Jessica Barker, PA, and Cassie Clara, RN, his office also offers many non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as injectables and laser treatments.  Licensed Esthetician Sara Chavez provides spa services on site with Spa on the Pacific.  We are located at Suite 102 of the Surgical Arts building, below the Surgical Arts Surgery Center. pacificplasticsurgery.com

Dr. Duncan Turner is not your typical board certified OBGYN. Since his arrival in Santa Barbara more than 35 years ago he has been an advocate for patients, listening to them and putting their needs first.

Alex Steinleitner, MD is a reproductive endocrinologist. He received his medical degree from the University of California at San Diego, and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Southern California’s Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
In addition to his medical practice work, Doctor Steinleitner is a recognized researcher, and has lectured internationally on infertility topics. He has won numerous awards from national societies for his work on advanced fertility treatments, and has been published in dozens of scientific journals, books and abstracts.

Joseph H. Chang, M.D., board certified ophthalmologist, is a respected member of the Santa Barbara, Bakersfield, and Mammoth Lakes communities. Dr. Carolyn Alexander is a passionate physician who is inspired by getting to know her patients. She is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.Additionally, she works closely with oncologists on the fertility preservation of patients who are about to undergo chemotherapy.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., Dr. Alexander received her bachelor's degree and her medical degree from UCLA. She proceeded to complete both her residency in obstetrics and gynecology as well as her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Daniel F. Rychlik was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and received his bachelor’s degree and his medical education at the University of Illinois. He proceeded to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine.

Inspired by his desire to help educate both patients and doctors, Dr. Rychlik spent time as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona and an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois. He served as the President and Medical Director of Fertility Centers of Arizona as well as The Clinical Director at Partners For Fertility and IVF in Fairfax, Virginia before relocating to Santa Barbara and joining Southern California Reproductive Center.
